Lot 99 and Greenbelt Access

Lot 99 is a private lot providing access to the Greenbelt for Investors Plantation on the River Homeowners Association (IPOTR) members. In the spirit of community, IPOTR permitted public access to the Greenbelt via Lot 99 for roughly 30 years. Starting in about 2021, that policy of goodwill was challenged by several developments that you can read about on the IPOTR webpage.

Why Does FACTS Care?

Since 1993, FACTS has been committed to creating a Greenbelt along the Boise River, which stretches approximately 60 miles from the Lucky Peak Dam east of Boise to its confluence with the Snake River to the west. A key part of FACTS’ mission is to improve access to and from the Greenbelt. Although the Lot 99 pathway was short, narrow, and infrequently used, it played an important role in creating a connection between State Street to the Greenbelt. Given our mission, FACTS members were and are saddened by the loss of this key connection.
